Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Culimise Inc uses on culimise.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. It works together with our Privacy Policy.
In short: necessary cookies keep the site working. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional, load only if you accept them, and are never used inside the signed-in app. You can change your choice at any time.
1. What cookies are
1.1Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, do the same kind of job. We call them all "cookies" here.
2. How we use cookies
2.1We use necessary cookies to run the site and keep your account secure.
2.2With your permission, we also use optional cookies on our public website only: the home page, pricing, articles, calculators, and sign-up pages. We never use optional cookies in the signed-in app, or on sign-in, password-reset, or support-ticket pages.
3. Necessary cookies
3.1These sign you in, keep your session secure, remember your cookie choice, and protect against abuse. They do not need your consent and cannot be turned off in Cookies Settings.
- culimise_consent (set by us): remembers your cookie choice. Lasts 180 days.
- Sign-in session (set by us): keeps you signed in and your session secure. Lasts for your session.
- Bot-protection cookie (set by our bot-protection provider): protects sign-up from abuse. Lifetime is set by the provider.
4. Optional cookies
4.1Nothing optional loads until you choose to accept it. Analytics cookies tell us how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they get stuck. Advertising cookies let us measure our ads and show our ads to people who visited.
- _ga and _ga_ plus an ID (analytics): tells visits apart and counts them. Lasts up to 2 years.
- _clck and _clsk (analytics): tells visits apart and groups a visit into one session. Lasts up to 1 year and 1 day.
- _fbp and _fbc (advertising): measures our ads and shows our ads to people who visited. Lasts about 90 days.
4.2Lifetimes are the providers' typical settings and can change. Each provider uses the information under its own privacy policy.
5. Your choices
5.1Use Cookies Settings on the banner, or "Cookie settings and your privacy choices" in the footer of every public page, to accept, reject, or change your choice at any time. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and withdrawing a choice removes the optional cookies.
5.2You can also manage ad personalization in the settings of the advertising and social media accounts you use.
6. Browser and privacy signals
6.1We treat Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track as a request to reject all optional cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
7. Changes to this policy
7.1If we add or remove a cookie or tool, we update this page and the date at the bottom of it. If a change needs your permission, we ask again.
